Classes

Kyukido - a Korean martial art combining the kicking and striking elements of Tae Kwon Do, the throwing and falling elements of Judo, the grappling and wrestling elements of Jiujitsu, and the manipulations and self-defense elements of Hapkido. Kyukido was founded by Grand Master Ok Hyung Kim and introduced in the United States in 1967. Our Master Cantin learned Kyukido from Grand Master Kim himself.

Hapkido - a Korean martial art focusing on joint locks and manipulations that gives the practitioner the option of using a lower level of force for self-defense. Many of the techniques that police use to control uncooperative suspects come from Hapkido.

Jujitsu - Our grappling program is heavily influenced by techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Most clases include rondori (competitive sparring) making this a physically very demanding class.

Judo - This art's most prominent feature is its dynamic throwing techniques. Our custom designed mat and floor make learning this art safe and fun. The philosophy developed for judo has become the model for most of the modern martial arts. Its worldwide spread has led to the development of a number of offshoots such as Sambo and Jiu-Jitsu.

Pee Wee class - for our 3-5 year olds, we have an introductory level class for kids and their parents to get on the mat together and start learning basic kicking, punching, and blocking techniques.

Birthday Parties - we also offer black belt birthday parties for up to 25 kids.
